I went old school Laura Bow.
As I said, one of the Aunts said I didn't do my part because we didn't have a working doorbell. So 7500centfish and kumquatqueen got one. It was delivered , but I didn't bother to install it till today. After figuring out confusing instructions I was able to change the ring tone to the clock chime in the Laura Bow games. I was tempted to do the Tetris theme... Mom wanted dogs.
I put the receiver in the kitchen so it's the loudest possible. But then I can't even hear it when I'm at the door, so... Certainly not gonna hear it if I'm upstairs. Mom asked about the doorbell we prev had. I mean, we still have the button for the back door. The front door one is missing. Plus it needs batteries on all ends.
As I told 7500centfish I was craving hot dogs yesterday, so I caved and bought "fresh" food from Amazon fresh. I also got eggs and cold cuts. I got it after I ate because I was craving an egg and cheese sandwich today. The oil popped and got me in the eyelid. Owie!
Dream... I don't remember much, but there was some sort of hostage situation, but I was an innocent bystander just trying to cross the street. It was also dark and rainy... But during this some guy tried to steal a cellphone off a woman in a car, but they struggled and had gotten out of the car and he had pinned her on the street. As I said, there was a hostage situation going on and all the cops couldn't help her at the time, but were screaming at the mugger to stop / let her go. I was then standing at the corner where all this happened, but the woman eventually got free and we were casually waiting at the light till it was free for us to cross.
Random things I remembered from the talk last night. He said in his fam, a large Italian Family, his father had 10 siblings and they all came to celebrate holidays together and they had a total of 30+ grandchildren. He talked about the adults sitting at the big table, while the kids sat at the small table. Soon they were taking out other tables, the ironing board because there were so many kids. But then he said you can only graduate to the big table if you got married and... Lol. Eventually as a teacher in his 30s at the kids table he was helping his nieces and nephews with their holiday break homework! He then talked of... Bringing someone along. As in bringing someone along with yourself to the faith / to heaven. As I mentioned he said the purpose of a spouse / parents is to bring their kids to heaven. He then said because of his grandmother's prayers he never got to the big table. HAHAHAHA!!! Side note... I've mentioned it before. I've heard many say you don't get to heaven alone. And once again, I always say... Or maybe I'm beginning to realize, maybe it's not my family that I'm meant to journey toward heaven with...
Emailed my parish about Mass on Sat. Mom wanted to go to the St. Joseph Mass. I heard it mentioned, but nothing is on the website / bulletin. So I checked with the office. 9:30AM.
Also thinking of finally emailing about the leftover bulk books I have. I have them free for the taking, except no one takes them... So I thought of... I don't know if I should email Fr. I directly or just the parish office. I mean... I intend on saying maybe the priest / deacons run into people that they feel could benefit from it and just give it to them, or do I just leave it in the gathering space for anyone to take.
Fr. Harrison of Clerically Speaking was on The Cordial Catholic. He mentioned he regretting streaming Mass during the pandemic because it created an attitude that streaming Mass was enough. But at the same time I've heard if you didn't connect with the people during the pandemic you'd lose them when trying to get them back. Like they'd always have an article about people not returning after being away and... A vast majority of my parish has returned. I don't know what the numbers are now, but we're growing month to month, like over 50% verses the previous year and... We weren't that empty then. But yeah, Bishop Barron said a similar thing to Fr. Harrison. He stopped streaming Mass when restrictions lightened because it kinda forces people to go back / seek out their own parishes. It was weird... Because at the time before the pandemic I was very much following other online priests / listening or watching their homilies. But once Fr. I started streaming Mass I just watched him.
LOL... I feel like I drink more / faster if I snack as I drink. But currently I've only drunk less than a cup and I'm almost finished with my snack!

Posted a poll which no one will answer... I'm a monthly confession goer and it's gonna get messed up because I have to work one weekend. I don't know if I should go a week before or after. I mean... That's assuming I'm not in mortal sin!
