We have a Family Saint!

So...  As Fr. I's Saint(s) of the day.  He made a post about the Spanish Civil War Martyrs.  I probably would have skimmed over it if he didn't also post an instagram story.  I had never heard of him, but Mom claims Aaron had visited something to do with him when he was in Spain.  But then when she told Mary Ellen, she doubted the story and googled him.  Anyway...  It doesn't seem like his actual feast day is today, but for the Martyrs it's Oct 10.  So...  I don't know why he decided to post it today.  He seems to post the actual St. of the day on most days.  Haha...  Mom then stole my thunder and announced it on Family Chat before I could.  All the girls were like Pray for Us.  And I'm like, how are we celebrating?  LOL!!!  I did post onto Elliot's instagram with a prayer...  For our intentions, for the sick and that we return to the fullness of the faith...  In my quick research it seemed like he started a school.  He was big on faith and knowledge.  Technically...  If you go by the Spanish naming system the C is actually his maternal family name.  Oh and there is a movie.

What else do I have to write?  My only note...

Marna asked me what we did with our pets.  Cremation.  I once again said they wouldn't let us take Koosh, so we had her cremated and b/c of that we had the other cats cremated.  I then mentioned we buried the 1st 2.  She then asked how long we had them.  Less than a year, 10, 18, 19...  She asked if I had another pet.  No...  I said I was still scarred.  I don't know if she said something or what prompted me...  But I basically started saying...  For pets it's different.  People don't really understand.  You don't get the same sympathy and support when a pet dies vs when people die.  Marna then said I was right.  But then she took support, like unconditional love from a pet.  I meant...  The people around you move on quicker and sympathize with you less, you don't really have the human support you have when a pet dies.  At least that was my experience.

Dr. L texted me this long message, which I guess be BCC'd to others...  Because it starts with "Dear Friends, Relatives and Fellow Americans"...  :-/  Yeah, you know where it's going.  Lol.  For decades the American ideal is crumbing, people wanting to make the country better through socialism, brainwashed youths.  "Vote!  The Free world depends on us!"  HAHAHA!!!

I bought "Unicorn Gold" off Amazon and...  It leaked in the packaging.  I requested a replacement.  It's cherry scented, but it smells like strawberries...  Anyway, it's no longer called Unicorn Gold, but Pootanicals.  I also got some draino.

I mentioned my annoyance at Mom posting to family chat first.  Yes it is a battle!  But then I said if I had posted first, people tend to ignore my posts.  So...  :(

I don't know what is worse...  US politics or the Roman curia.  Ugh.

I felt like I listened to a lot of podcasts and I have nothing much else to say...

That Gospel Simplicity guy was given a tour of St. John Cantius and...  The camera work was horrible!  He then interviewed the priest and it was all about him becoming a priest instead of learning about Catholicism.  I prefer 10 Minute Bible hour's tour and convo.
