Sunday ruined!
I slept late, set my alarm for 7AM, but I didn't wake up till 7:30, which is the latest I can get up to get to church on time. I get ready and go down. It's 7:44. Mom is still asleep. I wake her up. "10 o'clock!" Ugh... I hate 10 AM mass! It's the family mass and... There is just more music and... It's not b/c children are there. I don't like the vibe and... I can't explain it, it's just different. I also don't eat breakfast till after church so... My medicine schedule is messed up. Then McDonald's is in this weird not breakfast / not lunch period. Where... They're not serving lunch and if they don't have that breakfast item anymore they may not cook it. Anyway, so I go back upstairs and try to go back to sleep. But of course I'm pissed off and my anger is keeping me awake. I eventually get back to sleep and Mom comes up to get me. It's 9:50... And we're late anyway. So we get to church just as mass is starting so we stand in the back the whole time. I'm standing there with my arms crossed, my back starts hurting so I'm trying to get comfortable. First off... The demographics for the family mass were older than I remembered. They processed the kids out during the homily for their youth thing, but there were less of them than I remember. I wonder how the 12PM mass is... Anyway, communion... There were more people than the 8AM mass and since we were standing in the back, once we got in line the priest ran out of communion and let the lay people take over. So... I received communion from a lay minister, which I hadn't done in years. For a split second I thought of not receiving communion, b/c... I shouldn't. Especially today, when... I was at church, but I wasn't at church... If you know what I mean. FYI... I was playing blasting Nothing In My Way on repeat to and from church.
I wanted real breakfast and didn't want to cook it... B/c I can't have egg and bacon without rice and... Yeah, I don't like home cooked rice. Anyway, so I decided to go to bagel biz and... It was relatively busy, but once again, it was in a transition period. They were no longer cooking fresh bagels. But I managed to get a bacon, egg and cheese bagel. Plus a dozen... I asked for a dozen, but then mentioned, after she said "assorted?" that I only wanted poppy and everything. But when I got my order she ended up only giving me 2 bagels. When I paid I mentioned I wanted a dozen. She then only gave me 12 total and not a baker's dozen. :|
Oh and 7500centfish confirmed she only reads if I tag her, but I don't think locked posts get notifications, so... There's no point.
Still in a mood. I don't feel like seeking out youtube vids or continuing Brideshead. I don't have laundry to do today. Day wasted.
