Pissed off.

I've been looking forward to the Tony Awards all week.  #TeamGreatComet.  I wasn't expecting the actors to win.  I mean...  Josh Groban isn't really in it.  The people "Natasha" was up against!  Bette Midler, Patti Lupone, etc.  Lucas Steele / Anatole was nominated.  If anything, maybe that one.  I wasn't even sure about best musical.  I haven't seen / heard the other nominees.  But I had been hearing Dear Evan Hanson was a probable winner.  But then to lose directing / orchestration / choreography!?!  Jeeze!  I remember complaining Spring Awakening wining choreography and all they did during their performance was jump around!  Then the other musical performances were blah...  I did admit, the performance by Ben Platt was good.  Even his speech was cute.  But The Great Comet deserved more than technical awards, stage design and lighting design.  And I'm mad and bitter.  And turned off.  I'm literally thinking of no longer watching the Tony Awards.  I used to watch to find new shows, hear new music.  But none of them did anything for me.  Didn't make me want to buy tickets for their show.  It was blah.

And the whole Hamilton thing...  That pissed me off.  Not that I want to see the show...  But, that the only tickets available online, even the last tickets they're selling in March 2018 are all 2ndary market.  WTF!  The hype annoys me.  No interest.  As I tweeted, I was getting the same vibe with Dear Evan Hanson winning all the awards.  Ew.  No.  So...

I'm a bitter person.  Just ignore me.

In other news...  Seth Lugo is hot!  He came back off the DL and threw a pretty good game.  1 run.  Pitched through trouble.  Mets win 2-1.  Hope to God deGrom gets his stuff together.  The rest of the pitching rotation this time around did well.

Sean Gilmartin was DFA'd...  And his Gfriend liked my tweet.  Lol.
