So, I seem to be making a habit of falling off the world and forgetting to post these days, but I'll try to do better.
I so rarely have time to get onto the computer period, let alone hit the net and when I do get to LJ, I always want to catch up on the flist before I post.
Sorta caught up now, I think, so here I am again like a bad penny.
Got to see three movies in the last two weeks which is more than I saw all year last year. Acupuncture is a lovely thing.
The acupuncture is actually in a bit of a recovery phase. We did way too much stuff at our second session and I had a horrible backlash, migraines, muscle spasms and cramps, tingling and weakness. Not pretty.
This week we cut way back and only did about a third of what we tried the week before and I'm feeling much better.
It will take a lot longer to get where we need to go, but slow and steady is best for me apparently.
If you haven't seen the new Fantastic Four film, don't. It's awful. Really. I wanted two hours of my life back after that one. The only good thing about it was being able to get out of my seat when it was done and not limp.
Transformers. Loved it. (Sorry, Roku) I have to confess that my hubby was an engineer on something that was heavily featured in the film (no, not a car) and so it was a bit of a date film for us in that way. This may color my perceptions of the film, but the others in the theatre seemed to like it pretty well too so I think I can't be too far off.
Harry Potter. I won't spoil it for you, but do go see it if you are a fan of the books. I loved the film and am planning to go see it again, this time in IMAX, with tigerblak soon.
Bastet has a follow up appointment next week and I'm hoping that it will be good news, that she's holding steady. The girls have shown a definite preferences for fish in the new homemade diet and trout seems to be their favorite with salmon a close second.
Picking up the hubs from the airport in a few minutes, but wanted to say hi and catch up with all of you today.
Hope everyone's had a good week and wishing you all a terrific weekend.
