have you ever been so calm it hurts? I heard the most interesting thing from one of my customers the other day. She said that we humans don't really do anything. We wait. Why do we wait for everything? In the line at stores, we wait; even when we get to the register, we wait; Our paycheck? WE WAIT! We wait for everything instead of going ahead and being aggressive, taking what we want to be ours.
With that said, now I have to figure out how to take it :) Just think about how much you wait for things on a day to day basis.
Going on 7 straight days working! 5 of which have been ALL day long. I'm tired of mind and of body. Trying to make sense out of a lot of shit. I have decided, however, to watch this amusing game of "Cat and Mouse....and Mouse"(although the position of cat keeps changing frequently).
I served this girl the other day(need I say that she looked really cute?) and she came back in the resturant a couple of evenings ago.....and remembered me. Most people don't remember me, but she did. She remembered my name, where I was from, what day I waited on her and her friends(who are also really cute by the way!). She's suppose to call so we can go get a drink together(yes, I actually managed the courage to talk to her and give her my number). I have decided though that I'm not hoping she will call. I think that's the trick. Don't want them to call, don't really care, and then they WILL call....hopefully. NO, NO, NO, NOT HOPEFULLY!!! I'm still new at this, don't hold me accountable :)!
Back to waiting.....guess I'm gonna wait some more. One day she'll gather her senses.....I hope. No. I don't hope :)
