It's happened. I'm finally a little bit homesick. I've been talking to my mom every other day, and compared to last year when I she called me once a week to make sure I was still alive, that's a big difference. I think it was b/c last year I was more excited to get away, and now that I have been away for a year I've learned to appreciate 'home' more.
I got to listen to my high school marching band play in a competition today (hooray for cell phones!) and it made me want to go back even more. If everything works out I'll get to go home on Ocotber 1...I just have to take off work and sell a football ticket. :) (UW vs. Indiana- $80 obo) That weekend is my high school's homecoming and the World Shotokan Karate Association Tournament. yay. I can hardly wait.
