Year in Review: 2008

technically it's already the last day of the year... :) but im still awake for dec 30 haha... anyway...

so i just wanted to review the past year 2008.
(all links point to my lj posts/tags)

this was the year...

for work:
- i got into 2 projects i actually liked and enjoyed because it required me to have some hands on programming.
- i celebrated my 1st work anniversary (sick!)... 1 more year to go!!!
- met new friends :)

for travel:
- i got to travel to two countries i've never been to...
- went to Taiwan with friends
- and to Hong Kong with just my brother (parang Amazing Race!)

for big expenses:
- my trusty A650 is turning 1 on January 6 :) i need to bring it to Canon ASAP to get fixed under warranty
- Taiwan trip!!!
- Hong Kong trip!!!
- Leehom concert flower arrangements (we sent 4?)
- LJ permanent account :)
- my first own musical instrument: er hu :)
- MUSIC-MAN x_x hate tax!

for friends:
- new work friends (*pokes jei_ku*)
- tons of fandom friends (check my facebook... i added more than 10 people since my HK trip :O)

for chasing stars:
- saw VJ Isak and Evan at the K-Pop Party
- watched The Buzz with Wu Chun and Calvin Chen
- saw and met Leehom! (see list below)
- befriended Gerard Salonga :P (close na kami nyahaha)

for OurHome Philippines:
- 2nd year anniversary celebrated with friends :) and Christmas party (without me)
- Leehom saw us during the concert!
- more active members and new friends :)
- recognition from Wang Mama and Leehom himself!!!
- and this video!!!

for Leehom:
- MUSIC- MAN concert in Taipei (twice!!!)
- HKPO rehearsals
- actually meeting the man and coming out with 3 photos with him, 2 handshakes and an unforgettable experience
- new album!!! :)

well those are the top things i can think of right now... maybe i can add some more later... it's already late (or early) i need to get some sleep...

You have to hear the orchestra version of "Last Night"!!! The cello/strings accompaniment is amazing! Gerard did a great job with the arrangement of this one :) <3
