ABS-CBN Studio Tour (part 2): The Buzz! (part 1)
So the last studio we visited was Studio 5 where The Buzz was recorded. The told us that the place was packed and we had to sit infront, on the floor. No problem for me as long as I'm close enough to see them. So there we sat. We were at the right side facing the stage. And here's the view from our place.
So looking around, there were several cameras and we were afraid that we may be seen on TV. x_x (Sure enough there were times that the camera was pointing in our direction). There was one camera on a crane so that it can easily move around.
And I'm really amused with these kinds of stuff.
After around 10 mins(?) (I lost track of time), Boy Abunda and Gretchen Baretto (sp?) came out. First thing I noticed was Boy's boots. Haha!
It looks so cool. Well he's gay and most likely he has good fashion sense.
Anyway, Gretchen is also wearing a very nice dress. I like how the back collar is standing up high. XD
She looks very happy here. I also had another good shot but it's a little blurred. Funny how she was very conscious about short her dress was. She was like "Sabihin nyo lang kung may nakikita na kayo ha." Everyone assured her that it's all good and as long as she kept her legs crossed, it will be fine.
So they recorded Gretchen's interview first (yep it was recorded not live. It was taken before the boys came in). I'm amazed that they recorded everything straight. No retakes whatsoever.
So after the take, they took a break. A lot of people already came and the studio sa packed full with fans, employees and staff. Then we noticed this one guy who was standing out from the crowd.
When I first saw him we thought that he was with Chun and Calvin since he looked Chinese. He was holding a camera before that so I guess he some photographer for someone else. (I have another story about this guy later on...the next post)
So after that Ruffa came out in this very colorful dress.
This is the first dress in her wardrobe. So they're preparing for the next guest.
And after all the pre-recorded news stuff, it was time for the special guest to come out.
It's John Lloyd and he has this amusing pose when the screens parted. He walked toward the stage and waved at everyone.
So he took his seat and I don't know why I kept on taking pictures. Seriously. Be prepared... I didn't even upload half of it.
Commercial break and he stood up and went to the staff and crew. One girl gave him a piece of paper with "I ♥ Darla" and asked him to pose for a photo. Very creative! It was almost time for the show so they sat down. He kept on waving and looking at people, posing for cameras. And he suddenly looked at me and posed and I didn't even get that shot *sigh* I'm no fan but if an celebrity looks at you/camera and poses, it's really disappointing if you don't get that special moment.
So here he was signaling to a fan behind us that they'll talk later or something.
So the show went on and he was plugging his new movie. He kept on saying "ang gwapong John Lloyd... sabi ni direk gwapo daw talaga..." Ang kulit nya. And this was live!
So I got this shot because I find it amusing that they still use pen and paper for simple reminder stuff behind the camera compared to what the news reporters' teleprompter in the last studio we went to.
Commercial break! Since he was signaling to someone behind us earlier, during the break, he immediately went to our side and gave an autograph.
He also posed for pictures with the audience. That included a person behind us in a wheelchair (I think).

It was such a nice shot. Accidental shot actually since the setting was in Custom and I was really using Manual at that time.
He's really nice...
I had more shots including 2 group pictures with him with aksej clinging to him. hahaha sorry I had to say that :P You'll be surprised at how many shots I got. I was surprised too. Hahaha!
So that ends part 2.
