i've been listening to random songs all day and i finally decided to search the ken hirai's song with the unreadable title. the song caught my ear because i had the same 3-3-7 pattern as A Simple Song. so i searched part of the lyrics, "sono tokei", and i found it!
Ookina Furudokei
Literally "big old clock", but it was translated as "Grandfather's clock". I found it really nice yet sad as well. The melody actually fits the mood of the song since it has that traditional feel. This song will now be added to my favorites or at least in a list of songs that i can recommend. i will upload the song when i get home and share it here.
