Mommy: What did do in school today?
Kate: We learned about Chanukah!
Mommy: And what did you learn about Chanukah?
Kate: Some people celebrate Chanukah instead of Christmas and some families celebrate both. Oh and their are eight candles and they light one each night. One the first night they get to eat cookies and on the last night the get chocolate coins. I have chocolate coins in my backpack. Can I eat them after lunch? Oh and Noah's mommy helped us make candle hats. That's in my backpack too.
Mommy thinks: Nice to see they skipped over all the boring miracle of the oil and went straight for the food. That's the way to a four year olds heart and mind.
