I don't remember why I started smoking a pipe, or why I stopped.  It was sometime back in 2004...2008 or so.  It was probably inspired by the Lord of the Rings, which the Hobbit-y, pipe-smoking, peaceful lifestyle can be very appealing and there's nothing wrong with that.  I had more always been a cigar smoker, and it was not uncommon to see me out ( Read more... )

I have always been interested in metal-work and smithing.  I seen this video on Youtube to make a metal-melting foundry and was inspired to make my own.

I just went ahead and made mine much bigger then the one shown.

I started with a 40 qt stockpot, and after adding all the refractory sand, it weights in at about 140lbs

Working on my Tribute TV title.  Ran out of red paint, gotta run to get more, but damn this is going to look pretty when done.  Cost should run about the same as the other belts, but I have to finish the sideplates first before I can offer this.  Still a good time for anyone to start thinking about their own ideas if they are interested in ordering ( Read more... )
