So, yeah, as Masaya enjoyed poking at me about, I officially turned 17 back on the 30th. The last in the old gang to do so. So it's something of a joke among us Fudoumine guys that the biggest in the group happens to actually be the baby, so to speak. Which means I'll also get to enjoy going through this all over again next year when they all start

Uchi's only gonna do it cause Mori's gonna do it. Those two are joined at the hip and Mori's gonna probably be the first to get his since he's oldest. Yeah, but Mori's nicer about things than Uchi is. So I was hoping that maybe he'd just decide not to mess with me at all once he got his. But I don't expect that to be the case at all with Uchi. He's going to do it and he's probably going to enjoy doing it quite a bit.
But don't forget An-san. An-san gets hers before you also. So even if Mori wanted to be lazy, you still wouldn't be the first to get yours~ ...If you do shove it in my face, I reserve the right to use you as a personal taxi until I get my own.

Well, yeah, I guess that's true. But three months still is a really long ways to wait. I might not have been able to enjoy much of what was left of the cake, but it was still good~ And Namari says she "highly approves of An-neechan's cake", so I think even if I didn't get much, it still went to good use~

...I don't really have much of a choice, An-san. On top of all the regular bills we have to pay, there's also Christmas right around the corner. And I'm not going to let my family or my friends go without gifts.

It's alright~ You don't have to make up for anything to apologize, Shinji. I haven't exactly been available to everyone myself either, even for my own birthday, though for different reasons. So life affects us all.
