So, yeah, as Masaya enjoyed poking at me about, I officially turned 17 back on the 30th. The last in the old gang to do so. So it's something of a joke among us Fudoumine guys that the biggest in the group happens to actually be the baby, so to speak. Which means I'll also get to enjoy going through this all over again next year when they all start gloating about getting their driver's licenses before me and waving them in my face. Or at least Uchi will. He's already started suggesting that he's going to, anyway. ...Have I ever mentioned he annoys the shit out of me sometimes? I mean, he's only, like, a month older than me! What's he got to gloat about? Of course, I'm sure he'd say "that's still a month away from being the baby". ...But whatever. He's shorter than everybody else, so I've got that one over him. So there~!
Didn't really get to enjoy my birthday, though. Ended up spending it working. So sorry to anyone that tried to get in touch with me that day. Or at all, lately. I know I've been really distracted because of trying to keep up with all this work and with all the end of semester stuff they've been throwing at us. Which I'm probably going to get bad grades on. But save for history ...and home ec, if you want to count that, academics have never been my strong point. Doesn't really matter, though. I'm not expecting to do anything special with grades. And even if I do go to college, it's not like I'll be trying to get into one of the big prestigious ones anyhow. Though thanks again for the present and cake, An-san~! I really appreciated it~ ...Though Namari had already eaten a good portion of the cake by the time I got home. I swear, you can't put anything sweet in front of her and expect it to stay untouched.
Speaking of her, I need to help her get her costume ready and everything for her play since that's at the end of this week. Though Kaasan's never been too good at sewing, so I guess I'll be taking care of that. ...Should I feel troubled over the fact that I know this much about how to do...girl things?
[OOC: Since I haven't heard anything back from Tacchin on things, I'm going to assume Tetsu didn't see Kai at all on his birthday and just spent it working. So Sakurai can take a small breather for the moment. ^^; Though who knows how long that'll last. >>;]
