Increase you water intake- that will help manage your caloric intake more then anything. You are hungry because you are increasing your metabolism lifting, then your body feels the need to replace the glucose you burned out of your blood. If you are trying to loose weight, you need to NOT replace this glucose with carbs, but with protein instead (and again, lots of water). If you are trying to gain weigh, carbs carbs carbs after you work out. ...and more water :)
