I am currently in a semi-permanent state of deprivation. I am deprived of a functioning throat that can go 5 minutes without attempting to turn itself inside out; deprived of a regulated body temperature that doesn't border on the feverish and most of all, deprived of time.
But instead of feeling (entirely) down in the dumps, i am rather glad.
Today, i thought about how God has come through for me in BMT so many times(though we haven't quite gotten down to the gritty parts yet) and how he's blessed me with bunkmates who are generous, honest, enjoy my nonsense, and are just all round VERY VERY nice people. Then i thought about his steadfast love, shown to me through my dad who texts me verses and encouragements EVERY SINGLE DAY. Since i enlisted.
I only realised when i placed pen to paper and copied them over from my handphone to make space in my Inbox. It really blew my mind, how my dad is a Father that resembles God - Faithful, Caring and most of all Loving.
I'm really thankful :)
Verse of the Week:
The steadfast love of the Lord NEVER CEASES, his mercies NEVER come to an end. They are new every morning, great is thy faithfulness O Lord.
Be encouraged and emboldened!
