My cat, Phantom, ran away last night. Somehow, she managed to slip out of the house while Dad was getting ready to go to work. She wasn't around this morning, which makes sense : she likes to sleep in, but by two o'clock there was no sign of her

*hugs* Hopefully she'll come back? We let our cats go out whenever they want and they know where their home is and who feeds them, so they come back as soon as they're hungry. You could maybe try putting up some missing cat posters as well if she doesn't return soon? I hope you find her.

*HUGS* Oh, I'm so sorry. When our cat got lost we made posters with a picture of her on them and as well as putting them on lamposts we stuck them through the doors of everyone in our street -- a few days later someone rang up to say they'd found her, so it can work.

(sorry this advice is way belated but I know how awful it is to lose a cat and *HUGS again*)
