Phantom
My cat, Phantom, ran away last night. Somehow, she managed to slip out of the house while Dad was getting ready to go to work. She wasn't around this morning, which makes sense : she likes to sleep in, but by two o'clock there was no sign of her.
I'm really depressed by this and part of me just wants to scream and another wishes we had put a collar on her with our phone number and another wants to just get another cat and replace Phantom. But more and more I'm realizing that I can't just go out and replace her. Nothing can take Phantom's place.
