i need a new mindset. today sort of helped. but i still feel like shit. i dont deserve a horse like mine. but apparently someone thinks i do.

short version:

went incredibly well, despite bouts of buckets of rain dumping on our heads and making Gaelin an unhappy pony.

we learned to properly half-halt. it was, is wonderful. now i have more control in my canter. we have to "whoa", now we just have to get the "just kidding, go" part down in a more refined fashion.

onwards and upwards.
