Well, yesterday the sibling units had people over, so I hid in a secluded area until the mayhem was over. Saturdays are always boring without band practice or random trips to random places...and I never seem to get any of my homework done.
So today I did some of that after church...and then after lunch I made shepherd's pie for the soup kitchen. Yes, I cooked. No, nothing blew up. kthx. Though I did stab myself numerous times with a potato peeler. I give my mom a heck of a lot of more credit now.
So I got there and immediately went in the wrong door. A bunch of gangster people yelled "HEY, ARE YOU LOOKING FOR THE SOUP KITCHEN!?" And timid little me with my shepherd's pie was like "...yes..." So I go in the RIGHT door, and I'm the first one there (Besides Elizabeth Weber). So we talked for like two minutes and I wished her a happy birthday. Then more people started to come and we got cracking.
No wait...I lied. We did absolutely nothing for like, forty five minutes. But it's cool...I got to hang out with Kath, Margs, Jenny, Cara, Katland, etc. for a good while. As with everything else since I entered high school, this familiar experience was different because I'm never sure which people I'll see where. But it was cool
Anyways, I got to go around with a huge tray and hand out food. Then rice crispy treats. There was still a bunch left over, and the people had seconds. Then, there was...even more. lol. I guess it's a good thing they had extra food. And we all got rice crispy treats. :)
And I also got Kath to say "Holy $#!+" when we were folding tables. haha.
All in all a good weekend. Weather could have been better, but i heard it's supposed to get sunny and warm just in time for school tomorrow! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
