*raises hand*

May I reiterate my own opinion that the "demon blood" isn't actually anything but the placebo effect at work? It'd be wild if this "detox" wasn't a physical matter but an awakening of sorts. A ... revelation.

oooooh, I love that idea. LOVE IT.

I think the only thing detox will accomplish is to completely drive a wedge between Sam and Dean and nothing else. I don't see Sam forgiving Dean for this for a long time to come.

I would love that. But I'm not even holding my breath. I have no faith left in Kripke. None at all.

Oh, they totally did. Come on. It was either the conversation you described or they just ran out of ideas and found one of the golden crutches - addiction for one of the main characters. Obviously they needed to put a supernatural spin on it and Dean being an alcoholic wouldn't be anything new, so Sam drinking demon blood was perfect. *rolls eyes* There were so many other ways they could have gone and still arrive at a similar destination but with something that hasn't been done a gazillion times.

That being said, I have a feeling Jared will hit that one out of the park as well and break my heart in the process tomorrow.

Kleenex, alcohol, a pillow to cry into and/or to toss at the TV when a certain other brother says things he shouldn't be saying or does things he shouldn't be doing. Chocolate and ice cream wouldn't hurt either.

As much as I want the boys to make up and be brothers again next season, if they really have Sam just forgive Dean just like that - I think I'll lose ALL respect for the writers completely. Because I just really don't see it happening. Even if Sam gets clean, he will still see what Dean is doing right now as betrayal. Which is also why he won't talk to Dean about anything whatsoever, even less than he did this whole season.

Uhm....oh, what the hell, tell me. It can't be worse than Dean getting his wings. *headdesk*

As much as it's going to hurt, at least they won't try to sell us on 'oooh, they hug and everything's fine again'. Though I do wonder how the show would work with the boys separated for more than a couple of episodes.

Also, here is my hope - since they're dealing with the brother vs. brother now, means that the boys will patch up their relationship by the end of the series.

Though there's a persistent bunny running around my head at the moment. *sighs*

Wait....WHAT? I mean, I wouldn't be surprised, but they actually came out and say that? I guess they don't need to considering that's how season 4 was. Oh, fuck that. How about just kill off Sam and have a Dean/Cas show? see how many people will watch that crap.

The only thing that gives me hope right now about Sammy surviving the end is that if they're doing the brother vs. brother now, maybe it will be resolved before the show ends. Then again, we're dealing with Kripke here.

Oh, sorry. I guess I wouldn't be surprised with this show.

Btw, I just posted my thoughts on the episode. I have a theory.
