Work/Thanksgiving with Elana
Well, today at work it was a complete mad house. The deli was swamped with customers getting Thanksgiving dinner orders, and veggie and finger roll platters, and it was so busy that I don't think I had time to think let alone say anything to one of my good friends, Amanda. We were so busy, I thought I was going to die. But then the deli got short handed at like 2:30, and my manager, Belinda asked me to stay later. I didn't like it too much, but hey, I get paid more money if I work overtime, so whoo hoo for me. I got out at like 4 and then got my check. 179 bucks baby! I am going to spend that wisely for sure, cause knowing me, I'll end up needing it eventually. If I am not wise I will end up spending it in one place. Those of you who know me really well know that I will use it in one place and I would like to keep my money, so I am gonna keep it for a while. After work I cashed my check and picked up a few things that Elana asked me to get. I had to get Olives, pickles, and Apple Cider. I got two cans of Olives, since it was 2 for 2 dollars so that works for me. Elana will be happy to get that I am sure. She asked Peter to bring Cheese Ball and a pumpkin pie. So we'll have a bunch of food to eat I am sure.
I will be able to see Elana's new place since she moved in like 2 weeks ago. I been wanting to see it for a while now and I am glad that Elana has invited me to go spend Thanksgiving with her. Better than being stuck at home with my parents thats for sure. Peter told me last night he is not sure when he is comming to get me since he has to work at Target from 3:30 to 12:30 cause he is getting ready for Black Friday. I am glad I dont have to work on Friday. So I will have 2 days to relax and what not. Maybe my hand will feel better by then. I dunno what I did to it, but it has been hurting for the past couple of days. Mum says it's Carpal Tunnel, but I beg to differ. I am thinking it is a strained muscle or a sprain. Who knows. We'll see how it is by Monday.
I guess that is all for me. But the good news is that I was looking in my myspace messages, deleting the messages that I did not want, and I happened to stumble upon a message from Jessy. She sent me a message to offer me a congratualtions on getting a new job. I was happy to hear from her even if we are not speaking anymore. It's nice to hear from those you do not speak to anymore. I am not gonna ignore her just because we had some rocky patches. Maybe someday we'll be friends again. But until then, I am happy to get a message from her. So I sent her a mesage back even if it is a tad late and wished her a Happy Thanksgiving. If she replies, it's great. If not, then I will not get mad about it. All that matters is that she is happy. That is all that made me happy. Who knows what will happen with us in the near and distant future.
