I've spent the last week house-sitting for a friend of mine, who watched my kitties while we were away in Maine. She has a dog and a cat, so it's been interesting - lots of trips to the dog park and a LOT of slimy tennis balls. I just got an e-mail from my mum saying that sweet little Luci, the boxer who lived with Shane and whom I saw every day working at the kennel passed away a few days ago :-( She must have been at least 13! According to her mumma Nicole, she didn't suffer and was "a happy little old lady" until just before she died. We will miss her lots.
