Twenty Irises~

Sudden as all this is I find it quite nice to be back here, if only for a while. It's been so long since I left the UK I must confess I missed it somewhat, and the visits I have managed to fit into my schedule are always too brief.

A pity the children can't see this, but I suppose they will soon enough. I can trust that they are being taken care of ( Read more... )

You're here as well?

I'll come your way, darling. Where are you?

I am, seems as if most people have been called back to the school today.

Outside my love. I was curious to see how the flowers we planted have managed since we left.

Interesting...

That sounds just like you. I'll be out in a few minutes, then, if I can remember the way. It's really been years, hasn't it?

Indeed, seems we can't escape the castles antics even now.

You know me too well after all this time. And I'm sure you'll find it. I was surprised myself at how despite the years I managed to find my way, it's like sinking into ones memories. Some things have changed greatly, some barely at all.

[ooc: Thread is up in the log here whenever you have a chance dear. <3]

I would hope I know you well, at least. You might have a point there, though... Maybe it's like learning to fly a broom, something you never forget once it's been learned.

At any rate, I'll be there soon- and for your information, I take plenty of breaks.

It seemed that way to me, though I'm sure you'll discover for yourself soon enough when you make your way here.

Well that depends on what each of us thinks constitutes a proper break. Seems some of your old friends share my opinion about your working habits.

I don't work any more than you do yourself, Juliet. If I need a break, you do as well.

Still it is more noticeable because you have to be away from home so much. All that travel adds to the strain love. A short holiday wouldn't be such a horrible idea now would it?

Does it bother you? Darling, if it bothers you, I'm sure I could find things to do closer to home.

I know it can't be helped Romeo, and I appreciate you have a lot of responsibility. I just don't want to see you wearing yourself out, that's all.

I assure you, I can handle it. It's not as though I'm that overworked, after all.

Just please try and remember not to pull so many all nighters love. The girls are starting to ask why you're not there to tuck them in when they go to bed.

It's okay, I know you just want to help people and make things better for everyone. Just try to remember you don't need to do it all alone. The children miss you...I miss you.

I'll talk to my boss when we go back, alright? If I had known you felt like this...

Well I don't think anyone foresaw how much you'd actually have to do or for how long. I know how important your work is to you.
