Three sentences about 2017-03-31
The forecast for today called for 5 - 8 inches of snow, and then only 4, and then a mix of snow and rain, and, well, we live in New England, this is what we get. I noted that when they say "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb", the goes-out part apparently means "white and fluffy". :^p In any case, it seems to have snowed some, and be raining now, and we're not gonna get 5 - 8 inches of accumulation unless something significant changes overnight. Which, to be clear, is 100% fine by me. :^p
Work today was ok, I successfully delivered a key part of the April Project to the people who want to use it, although they haven't managed to start using it yet, so it's unclear if it's actually working right. Then a bunch of crunchy and delicious little things to finish my day, and a not-too-bad drive home despite the snow/rain/slush/whatever. Leftovers for dinner, baths for kids, an hour or two working on a completely different pile of yak at work, and now it's time for bed.
