Three sentences about 2017-02-23

I got to bed so nice and early last night that I woke up a bit early this morning, and thus went back to sleep after playing with the kids for a bit; dozed a little, maybe even slept, but it was nice and relaxing anyway. We then headed up to Claremont to visit my dad and family, stopping at Patty's on the way to pick up burritos for lunch tomorrow (including some comical misunderstanding about whether I was getting burritos just for me, or for Amy as well). Had a nice time hanging out, the various kids played together, I caught up with my dad a bit, and we ordered a couple of Round Table pizzas for dinner, which were good although not as spectacular as I remembered. An easy drive back to San Diego, and now it's late and time for bed.
