I was on Tv!!
Hey Everyone!!
Today was awesome!!! I got a chance to participate in the Big Bay Balloon Parade here in San Diego. It was televised Live today on Channel 4, so if you missed it or you don’t live in San Diego, it's also going to be televised nationally tomorrow (Friday) morning at 9am on the USA Network. I'm not sure if the time is the same everywhere but it’s listed as the “Pacific Life Holiday Bowl” but you can check your local listings. I got to be in the parade with a bunch of other employees for Waste Management. We're among the last participants to march in the parade. We pushed a bunch of our curbside toter trashcans down the parade mile strip, and were banging on our trashcan lids, and doing formations with our trashcans LOL!! It was so awesome!! I had my mom record the parade for me, so I could watch it when I got home. I had 2 close up shots, and could see myself a couple other times too :) If you get a chance, check out the Parade! It was pretty cool :)
After we were done with the Parade, our work took us all out to lunch to Anthony's Fish Grotto downtown. We were able to get anything we wanted, so a bunch of us got a few different appetizers to share, and I got the coconut shrimp for lunch…. Mmmm! I don’t even want to image what the total bill was with like 20 of us there, everyone had meals that were at least $20, plus appetizers and drinks galore! It was a total blast!! I absolutely love working for Waste Management!! They treat their employees like a million bucks. It’s the best company I’ve ever had the privilege of working for :)
