I'm going to be in the Holiday Bowl Parade or the Big Bay Balloon Parade tomorrow.  My work is participating in the Parade, so Im gonna be down there doing all that jazz dancing or marching in the parade hahaha ;) Everyone at work has been saying I have no idea what I'm getting myself into, because they said it's so much fun!! I honestly cant wait!! I've never been in a Parade like this before hehe :) How Exciting!!

Bleacher seating for the 2006 Port of San Diego Big Bay Balloon Parade, presented by the San Diego County Credit Union is sold out. Fans wishing to view the parade can watch streetside for free.

There's no better way to spend a sunny San Diego day with the family than along its beautiful waterfront watching the Port of San Diego Big Bay Balloon Parade. As this year’s theme, “It’s a Wacky World,” implies, the parade is sure to be an unforgettable adventure.

Local and national television audiences, as well as over 100,000 street-side spectators, are expected to experience the heart-pounding marching bands, world-class floats, and towering balloons. More than 62,000 square feet of helium will be used to inflate all of the balloons, and more than 700 volunteers will guide the procession down Harbor Drive. Joining the festivities will also be entertaining and comical drill teams such as the Red Hot Mamas, Dumpster Divers, Sumo Wrestlers, and the BBQ Grillin’ Team.

We encourage all parade spectators to use public transportation. Click here to visit the Metropolitan Transit System for more information on using public transportation in San Diego.
