Sneaking this in under the wire, just before the reveal. \o/
30 Rock
The Wrath of Jon (gen, PG)
Jonathan POV. Gloriously demented and spot-on 30 Rock.
Dexter
Sketches Traced in Sand (Dexter, s4 gen, PG)
S4 really made me adore Deb, and this is a great alternate perspective on the show's events, as she puzzles out the grief and devastation that the Trinity killer left in his wake.
Greek
God Bless Us, Evan Chambers (gen, Evan/Cappie/Casey-ish, PG)
Evan gets the Christmas Carol treatment. The concept may be a little crack-y, but it's a very sweet, in-character fic.
The Hunger Games trilogy
Much More Important Things (gen, PG-13)
Brutal satire of the message board culture surrounding the airings of the Hunger Games in Panem, which also reveals some sad truths about the Capitol. Superb.
THEIR LAST NIGHT OF LOVE: A SPECIAL VERITY PRESENTATION, EXCLUSIVELY FOR PREFERRED CUSTOMERS (Katniss/Peeta, NC-17)
A clever twist on the 'fuck or die' trope, which sees Katniss and Peeta's wedding night televised for paying customers. Slides effortlessly into canon, with great characterization and universe-building.
Mad Men
O tower not of ivory (gen, PG-13)
Paul Kinsey at Princeton. Lovely details and a mood you can almost taste and touch.
Make It Or Break It
Three Finger Hook and Loop (Razor/Damon/Emily, R)
It's your typical teen love triangle -- but without the average sanitized heteronormativity! There's a wonderful carefree warmth to this story, but at the same time, it doesn't sugarcoat its truths. Sweet, funny and a little bit ouch-y. (YES, I AM REC'ING THIS AGAIN.)
Mo Willems - Pigeon series
The Pigeon Wants A Story (gen, G)
I don't even know this fandom! I guess it's about... a pigeon? Anyway, this story is hilarious meta about the yuletide-writing process. Also: BIRDS. I LOVE THEM.
The Vampire Diaries
In the Service of Beauty (Katherine/Damon/Stefan, NC-17)
VD is a mediocre show, but its canonical non-con and (near) canonical incest make it such an enjoyable playground for fic. This is a delightfully-twisted piece of period "romance".
