Fic rec: Events Unnerve Me by yeats (American Idol RPF, Adam/Kris UST)
I struggle with AI fic, because I don't want to see Katy denigrated or Kris's marriage passed off as insignificant. But this fic (mostly) dodges those potholes and just infuses Adam and Kris's friendship(-and-sometimes-more) with an incredible pathos. The descriptions of LA are also lyrical and evocative.
Just really good fiction, really. Read it.
