Ah....ha! Finally, I have found The Hills femslash! For a show with such an odd blend of fiction and reality, you would have thought there would be a lot of RPS out there. Sadly not. ;__; (Come on! The Lauren/Heidi love story would be epic. Awful, but EPIC.)

This is more a portrait of an embittered Lauren than anything else and I really think the author gets her character spot on. (It's such an absurd thing to say, but this rings true. Or maybe it rings false in the same way as the show?) The details are absolutely what make it, such as Whitney subscribing to dictionary.com's Word Of the Day and teaching Lauren what "vapid" means.
At the End Of the World by valerie_z (MCR/The Used, Gerard/Bert, Gerard/Lyn-Z, Frank/Jamia)
When Bert threatens to leak the sex tape he made with Gerard, an assorted crew of MCR and girlfriends launch a military operation to destroy the tape. The premise is cracktastic, but the emotion evoked feels genuine. The interspliced scenes from the sex tape are filled with a real sense of pathos. (This fic succeeded where 3 years in fandom has failed: it made Bert/Gerard seem weirdly... romantic to me.) It's also an incredibly thoughtful portrayal of Gerard's burgeoning relationship with Lyn-Z.
I am really enjoying the gradual roll out of primers at bandom_ships. Even when I'm not into the 'ships, they still make interesting reads. Yay, 'shipping! \o/
