I could go for some Good 'n Plenty right now. Sans euphemism.

Remember 2001, when Flaming Pear plug-ins for Photoshop were the most amazing thing ever? (Hell, I still feel this way. I'd be lost without Melancholytron.) Most of them you had to pay for (or otherwise acquire >_>), but there was also Chromasolarize, the free plug-in. It was basically a bit shit and made everyone look like an alien. But you perservered with it, hoping you could somehow get some use out of it. (Actually, if you fade it way down, you get a pretty cool, shimmery effect. It's also good for lightening really dark pictures in a quick and interesting way. Yeah, I perservered. :P)

Well, welcome to the video for Say Anything - Baby Girl, I'm A Blur (which is a damn good song, btw)

Nyaaaghhh. Jeff is really hot. (Jeff being the bearded one of the twins. And no, I do not know why being moody and bearded makes him more attractive to me than Jake, the bouncy, clean-shaven twin. >_>) Is he also the boy in the kissing-writhing-fighting scenes, or is it just a Random? The hair looks the same, especially in the slap part (which is probably the only part where the Chromasolarize effect looks cool and not just weird). I'm gonna pretend it is, because mmmmmmm.

Ladies and gentleman, emo kids trying to be electro! I predicted this months ago, oh yes I did! Also, Max Bemis would like you to know that he's still scary and intense, even accompanied by harsh tasty beatz.

SA are touring the UK now and they are not playing anywhere near me. *pouts* They're playing Norwich AND Cambridge, though. TWO dates in East Anglia? Seriously?!? ...Why isn't it a year ago? :| Oh well, I'm seeing Josh Ritter tonight. I shall console myself with some nice folk music. ;)

Not even remotely related: I'm reading Belle De Jour: The Intimate Adventures Of A London Call Girl at the moment, because, despite my misgivings, I did enjoy the TV series a lot. It's so clearly fake that it boggles my mind that there was ever any discussion on the fact. Also, "Belle" obviously ran out of sexy material after a month and just started blogging about her real life, which is, if possible, even more mundane and boring than my own. *eyeroll* Also, it is finally clear to me that ranting "wittily" about something irrelevant that annoys you is never amusing to anyone but yourself. God knows, I am guilty of this, but at least I have some self-awareness. For instance...

It really, really annoys me when people refer to the Brand New song, 'Jesus' as 'Jesus Christ'. It's not called that! It's called 'Jesus'. Just 'Jesus'! If you think otherwise, you obviously didn't buy the album, because it's labelled quite clearly as 'Jesus'. Just 'Jesus'. (See? That was really boring.)
