Gratitude Project Day 42 & 43

Yesterday I was grateful to knock more items off my to-do list than I expected to.  I think most people have something like this, but I have a mental to-do list of stuff.  Or maybe it's a few lists.  There's a 'needs to happen today' list and a 'needs to happen this week' list and sometimes a 'needs to happen when I have the chance' list.  Yesterday, the 'today' list got completely knocked out and the 'week' list got a significant chunk taken out of it.  I like it when my lists get shorter :D

Today I am grateful for gatherings with my spiritual family.  We celebrated Mabon a little early today and merged it with a Wiccaning (for the non-Pagans, that's a bit like a baptism) Ceremony for the daughter of one of our members.  The weather was gray this morning, but it was perfect and sunny for the ceremony.  Then we had the traditional Mabon Feast--turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, 7 cheese mac & cheese, green bean casserole, tomato salad, several kinds of fresh-baked bread...so much good stuff that the food haze is keeping me from remembering it all!  So many things to be grateful for today.  Good food, good friends, good times.
