Most of you know that I'm on a health kick and have been on one for a while now.
revelrain was doing some research and encountered interesting information on fasting. Apparently, fasting for one day a week can be quite good for you, especially for your digestive system. It allows the body to reset. So I'm giving it a shot. Woke up about 9 am this morning (ah, Sundays...) and raked the backyard in lieu of doing my cardio DVD. Put some turkey carcasses into water to boil (to make soup out of later). Recorded for a few hours--we're doing a lot of album stuff today.
Interesting things:
I'm vacillating between being a good deal calmer and clearer-headed than normal and a sort of hysterical delirium. Everything is funny. Especially the stuff going on inside my head. Which is why I'm having giggle-fits periodically without any external triggers. The clearer-headed part is neat, too. I'm not getting frustrated today. Normally I'm very impatient with just about everything. Not today, though. It's really nice.
For some reason, my eyes are telling me that I'm taller than usual. I think that's about as clear as I can get that one...
My limbs feel a bit heavier than usual, but not in an unpleasant way.
I'm a bit clumsy.
I'm not really hungry, though. I feel like I could eat, but I'm not ravenous.
And please don't worry. If I start to get a pounding headache or become emotionally unstable (or at least more so than usual), I'll stop this.
But it's interesting. I think I'm enjoying the process. My brain is really funny if I give it a chance....lol
