xmas shopping panic
argh...
I think Thailand has ruined shopping in Manila foreverrrrr... I swear, ever since I got back from the Super Mega Wow trip, stuff in the usual stores just don't seem as interesting. (Which on the one hand, is good for poor-as-rats people like moi... but on the other hand is also kind of depressing) :P So instead of updating the silly-looking clothes in my closet (something I seriously need to do soon!), I have instead frittered away a significant chunk of my salary on pointless thing such as goofy Japanese food items in cute packaging. Yes, I bought them cos the packaging was either cute or had retarded Engrish on them. LOL.
Case in point:
I've been trying to get my Christmas shopping done, but it's sooo hard to find really cool gifts. (Would it be lame to give away sake for Christmas? lol) For once I want to come up with really awesome gifts for people, but so far I haven't had any "Eureka" shopping moments (except maybe for a few more pointless things that I wish I could get for myself). :P I want to buy boots. I saw some super cute suede ones in Zara... but then again since we are a tropical country and I am not a hip scenester who can get away with it, it would just be a mistake to buy them. *sob*
Plus I really should be concentrating on Christmas gifts. The search continues... any shopping buddy volunteers?
