Oh, fun. Gakked from jaina:
Make a list of all the characters in your icons. (Although you may have more than one icon of a single character, they only go on the list once.) Alphabetize it. Take the first two people on the list; that's your first pairing. Second two people; second pairing. Etc. Then write your reaction to each pairing (or a snippet of a hypothetical fic featuring each pairing).
Claire Allen/Claire Petrelli
Other than the cuteness of having a Claire Squared pairing, I don't think Claire Allen would ever hook up with someone underage. And Claire Petrelli would be a little too gabowzers over Trevor when they meet, so nope, not happening.
The Doctor/Elsa Bloodstone
He's a nine hundred-year-old Time Lord! She's the last in a line of immortal monster hunters! Together, they fight crime blow shit up! (In other words, oh yes.)
Gene Hunt/Harry Dresden
I'm pretty sure this would end in bloodshed. And considering Harry's totally crap at physical fights, even odds are on Gene coming out on top (erm, so to speak).

Tea, Zen, short-tempered relatives and a secret ability to totally kick ass. They're cosmic twins, yo.
Meryl Stryfe/Martha Jones
They'd bond over commitment-phobic immortals and decide that they are so awesome on their own, they'd immediately go off to have fabulous lesbian adventures together. The Doctor would pout, but once Vash got over it, he'd totally be their male BFF and plot with Millie to get them hitched.
Morgan/Nathan Petrelli
Erm, well, they can both be superior and they pretty much think everyone else is full of shit. But probably no go. Nathan has enough difficulty coming to grips with his own abilities, let alone magic, and Morgan would lose patience with the angst and political machinations pretty quickly.
Renji/Sam Tylor
Um, bwahahahahaha! Oh man, they're both such sad sacks, they'd either depress themselves into suicide or be the most hysterically dysfunctional couple ever.
Sokka/Trevor Hale
Erm, no. But I could definitely see Sokka looking to Trevor as a pimpin' mentor. And Trevor could set him up with Claire Petrelli!
