today sucks
Beware this is a rant!
so toady was a marginally crappy day. it all started off predictably with sleeping in an extra 30 min and not being able to eat much or take a shower before my first class. That want a big deal because that's a regular occurrence in my morning routine. what made it worse was the reminder that i have a 5 essays to write before finals next week. and 3 of them i have to have by monday. The second most crappy thing was my time usage today, which consisted of me milling around looking for a notebook that i had already found but didnt think was the right one for god know why. then i wasted time on the inernet. made lunch and went to class. i did more or less the same thing during my second break in classes today. after bio i came home and actually worked on some bio stuff i have to have finished by friday for my lab practical; which at the moment is looking foggy and uncertain. the crappines transcended work as well. first off Jackie was the late mid shift (5-9) and she doent do crap and does that slowly. my buddy Evan was there which kinda made up for Jackie's slow work ethic but he wasnt in a gung ho mood today so he didnt do much either. around 7:45 it started snowing. I kid you not, fuckin snow. that made my mood drop completely. it wouldnt have been so bad if I didnt have 2 things working against me. FIRST the snow up here was unbelievable last year. there was a snow pack on the roads that made the gorge look like normal driving and it lasted for a month and a half. granted i dont drive but once a week and i have studs but i do bike to work which will be impossible in that kind of snow. second snow means really cold weather and i just dont want to deal with that (actually after that rant about driving conditions i forgot what i was gonna say for the second thing). plus if i cant bike and I refuse to drive. ill have to walk to work which takes 30 min. ARGH! to top it all off i am eating mashed potatoes that have the consistency like cream of wheat.
