A Surprising Use for Staples
This week has been great, spending time with my family. Today I'm back at work and had a very long issue that I'm not sure if it got resolved but the guy was nice so it was a fairly pleasant call. We were given free ice cream, soda and pizza today :) I think they're trying to kill us. Speaking of which time to grab a slice. Nothing like free lunch :)
One of the screws on my glasses fell out, again. It had stayed on for a while cus i got a glasses repair kit and tightened it really good, but it loosened and fell out, only this time I couldn't find it again. Somebody suggested a paper clip, but they're too thick. I went to the supplies cabinet and found a thing of staples. Went back to my desk, popped out a staple and wrapped it around the holes where the screw went. Works pretty well, at least until I can go home and find my glasses repair kit. I'd put it in my suitcase cus I thought they'd find the screw driver offensive at the airport. I forgot to put it back in my purse. Instead I found Japanese red potato caramels in their place. That was interesting but not helpful.
I'm on my third Dr Pepper... don't normally drink this much all at once. Too much school work. Gotta get a paper in this week and another in for Tuesday. Backlogged cus of the vacation. The teacher let me take the test late, for which I was really happy. Still don't know how I did though.
