Living
Hey guys, well there is now an official plan for where I'll be living when my dad moves. Originally, as most of you know, the plan was for me to get an apartment. However, there was some legal trouble arising between my dad and I, and so there is now a plan that everyone has agreed on.
My dad will not be moving until the beginning of August. When the time comes for him to move down to Georgia, my belongings will be moved into my good friend Scott's house. I will live at Scott's house (yes, all the parents have agreed to this) from August to November when I turn 18. When I turn 18, which is on November 14th, I will be moving into an apartment.
The reason I personally will benefit from this plan as opposed to moving into an apartment NOW is that, this way, I can save roughly between 2,000 to 3,000 dollars between now and then. That will be just about enough to pay for a 6-month lease on my apartment, which means for six months, I don't have to worry about rent because I've already paid it. Of course I'll still have to worry about the electric bill, groceries, gasoline, etc.. but rent is one less thing to worry about.
On a different note, drag racing is going really good. I've raced on three different days now, and the first two times the engine was fucked up bad. But the third time (yesterday), the car ran great. We still need to tweak the engine a bit to get me going faster, but all is well.
