I am dating a lovely girl named Shannon. She makes me want to be a better human being. Last night we saw The Stills play the Prospect Park Bandshell, supported by Malajube and Sam Roberts [even more energetic than The Stills].
I saw Sharon in Penn Station, and as it turned out, my best friend Paul did the lighting. Coincidence, or something more sinister?
My mother is out of the house by law.
I am beginning my Drivers' Ed. course.
College begins two weeks after my birthday.
I am getting a laptop. I think I would like a MacBook.
I want to quit my job at the bookstore soon.
I have watched Oldboy, Good Bye Lenin!, Sicko, American Splendor, Little Miss Sunshine, The Edukators, and Once in the past two weeks. Oldboy was disturbing and I am still digesting it. Good Bye Lenin! was charming, sweet, and is required viewing. Sicko is a movie you should see as soon as possible. American Splendor is gritty, but seems not to have gone as deep as it could have. Little Miss Sunshine is quirky, funny, but ultimately forgettable. The Edukators is an interesting critique of idealism, I think. Once is a refreshing romance, or a feature-length chain of music videos, but worth watching.
That is, I think, everything.
