Something big is going to happen soon. I can see it on the streets. Smell it in the air. Hear it on the radio waves. My hands are shaking, I'm eager. Are you afraid of revolution? Explosions in nearby shopping centers. Police barricades with bullet-proof plexiglass, kevlar vests, gas masks, rifles firing into crowds. There'll be panic. As for me, I'll be in an open field, staring at the blue sky with the orange sun, the last beautiful things that we'll see before the nights are full of shattered glass, smoldering cinder, and an ashy haze. I welcome it with open arms, as it will be the closest to consolation I'll be able to find. I won't be satisfied unless there's something to fight against, until there's something to fight for, until controversy is the bowl of cereal I wake up to, and subversion the car I drive to work in. Start now, influence those who can be. All it takes is a whisper, chapped lip not an inch from their earlobes, "revolution." Revolution.
