Seriously! I do know that British people have quite a different approach to all things to do with the Second World War and Germany during the Third Reich and sometimes that can be interesting and illuminating. But today I saw something which made my mind boggle and wonder what people are thinking with, always assuming they actually do engage in higher thought processes in the first place.
The thing I saw: A polo shirt worn by a student, with small stitched university logo on the front and "Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein *insert name of university campus where I work*" in huge letters on the back. I asked the student whether he knew the actual meaning of what was written on his back, to which he pleaded ignorance and then continued to tell me that this was actually a shirt designed for and worn by a group of students on a trip to Germany! WTF doesn't even begin to cover it....
rl,
wtf uk?
