Working Well

Dec 02, 2005 02:31

Well, the week has been hellish in several ways, but now things are looking up. The 20-page paper is getting closer to being done (although technically it was due Thursday at 2:30), and (having gotten permission) I should be able to use a reasonable amount of it in my IDS paper, due Monday. Sweet!

Also, yoga continues to make me more aware of how my body wants to be in a neutral state. Weirdly, I've had a lot of trouble figuring out what "normal" is supposed to feel like. But yoga is helping a ton. I'm just a li'l worried about my wrists holding out through the next couple papers.

Friends, thanks for tolerating my Eric Mortensen paper-related rants over the last couple weeks. You have been good listeners and very supportive. I always enjoy how people's best sides get a chance to shine during finals time. I also would like to express my sincere appreciation of folks who give really good hugs, and of those who think it's important to tell others the good aspects they see in them. Like the person who sent those index cards in the mail the other day. You rock, Anonymous.

Sadly, I think I will resort to that late 90s where-are-they-now group, Semisonic, to describe my mood. I am feeling strangely fine. I hope you are, too.
