First, let me say that reading everybody's Thanksgiving entries the other day really made me feel better about things. Everyone was so happy and optimistic and grateful. So thanks you guys for being there, for being hopeful, and for being fun.
To catch up a bit:
-Thanksgiving was very good, with plenty of family and great food
-However, the specter of schoolwork loomed over me basically the whole time (thanks for nothing, Eric!)
-I was feeling pretty down, kind of depressed and hopeless, the other night, but after our house meeting I decided it would be okay, and after being reasonably productive in the library, I think things will more or less work out, and am much more sanguine. It's all about lowering your standards.
-The romance that I hoped would blossom=no go. Bleah. I felt really bummed about things not working out, even though the whole deal was rather brief, but friends, ice cream, and a long weekend helped me feel better. I guess I am still looking for that special person (who feels the same about me), though I won't have much time until winter break.
-I got stopped on New Garden Road today for speeding en route to Lowe's Foods. The policeman was totally right to stop me (going 52 in a 35 zone), but it still shook me up. Fortunately, he let me off with a warning. I think a ticket would have pushed me closer to the breaking point in this week of HELL. But I exaggerate.
I hope everyone is well as we near the end of the semester!
