Again, this is not for or against a particular side.  Well, one might argue it is against both sides.  It's mildly interesting commentary on our Presidential "debates".

So, Justice Scalia told the BBC that torture might be completely ok in some circumstances.  He pointed out that our Constitution refers to cruel and unusual *punishment*.  So, you might use physical interrogation techniques and not be using them to punish specifically and so that would not be unconstitutional.  Actually ( Read more... )
