The first of many catch up posts

So, I've not posted anything since The Impossible Astronaut. Mostly because I was at FedCon and had a bloody wonderful time.

I've now watched The Impossible Astronaut 5 times and I'm now on my 6th time. I'm going to watch The Day of the Moon for the 4th time once it's done.

So, I guess I start with thoughts about The Day of the Moon

So, first off - that kiss. You know the one I mean. Obviously, RiverSong assumed that they'd already kissed - there was no doubt in her mind that they'd done it before. But obviously the Dr didn't think they had. So, has their time line got screwed up? Because the Dr is messing with his timeline is he also messing with RiverSong's? Or has the Silence messed with his head, making him forget? And when - in the all the time we've seen them - would they have kissed? Or has the Silence messed with RiverSong's head, making her think they'd kissed before.

Considering all the stuff we don't know about what happened between the two episodes, I'm guessing we still don't know everything and there is going to be more leading up to the final episode. It just seems...too easy, if you ask me. If all those aliens from S5 were running from The Silence, I feel like there should be something more to them.

And then there is the girl. Is she River? (which I doubt because - unless The Silence screwed with her memory - River would remember, right?) Is she Amy and Rory's child? Again, it just seems too easy, like Amy and everyone are being set up for some reason. And I can't believe that River is Rory and Amy's daughter because I feel like she'd be more awed by the fact that she was seeing her parents before they had her.

And The Silence saying the child is important. That's...going to mean something, right? I keep thinking they might want the power that comes from a time lord - or whatever she might be.

Also, is the girl in the spacesuit the same girl who goes into a regeneration?

And the TARDIS not being sure about Amy being pregnant makes me think that it's to do with time - and the choices that are going to be made in the past and the future as to whether or not Amy actually becomes pregnant.

And was the spaceship The Silence had Amy in theirs or something else they salvaged?

And then there's Rory. I love him SO DAMN MUCH and the relationship between him, Amy and the Dr. I definitely squealed when the Dr helped him out of the body bag and kissed the top of his head.

And then there was Rory's determination and belief that Amy can always hear him, even when she can't and his promise to her that he'd find her and bring the Dr. The way Rory's face falls when he thinks she's confessing her love for the Dr but he still refuses to leave her as the spaceship is destroyed around them. And then the Dr and Rory talking about Rory's time as a Roman was so sweet and touching. And then his look of surprise and joy that Amy called him 'stupid face' was SO sweet. And then with the listening in when Amy's talking to the Dr about thinking she was pregnant was hilarious. Because she called him out and he was so bashful and the Dr was just laughing at them and looking SO DAMN FOND. I love the three of them together SO much.

Nixon having his own theme music every time he appeared was hilarious - as was Canton's smirk when Nixon walked out of the Dr's prison.

And then when he broke into the Apollo 11 and didn't quite put it all back together properly and mouthed 'sorry' to Nixon was hilarious.

It took me a moment to realise that Rory and River were with Nixon when they rescued the Dr.

My three favourite RiverSong moments:-

1) 'There's always a way out' and diving into the TARDIS swimming pool.
2) Her gun fight was one of the most kickass things I've seen in ages.
3) The kiss - the way the Dr didn't quite know what to do with his arms was hilarious - the way her eyes dimmed as she realised that

My three favourite Canton moments:-

1) 'Welcome to America.'
2) 'This is a video camera - whatever a video camera is.'
3) Yes. He is.'

Also, at least we finally know the origin of the Watergate tapes ;-)

I'm SO happy to see Mary and Marshall back again.

I'm sensing a potential love triangle between Mary, Marshall and whatshername. I'm not entirely sure if I like whatshername but I really enjoyed the new woman Stan hired. I think that's going to be fun *g*

I'm so happy for Brandi and Peter. I hope that it doesn't go horribly wrong.

I really liked Riley and he made me laugh so much.

I'm looking forward to seeing what's going to happen.

1) The stuff with Dany and Drogo didn't squick me out of the first time. That's definitely a plus.

2) Syrio Forel is made of awesome and my favourite scene was definitely him starting to teach Arya how to sword fight.

3) I loved the talk Ned had with Arya.

4) The conversation Cersei has with Joffrey was suitably creepy. Also, it shows how Joffrey doesn't understand a thing about being a good king.

5) I can't help but feel a bit sorry for Jamie - especially when Ned dismisses what he said about The Mad King.

6) Sansa remains a ninny.

7) Why didn't we see any of the direwolves? Ghost in particular hardly ever leaves Jon's side.

8) Loved the stuff at the wall

9) Loved Ned slamming Littlefinger against a wall for taking Cat to a brothel and the way Cat chastised him *g*

Want the next episode now, thank you very much HBO.
