Castle

This episode was all kinds of awesome. I kept hoping that some how, impossibly, both Beckett and Castle were right. And what do you know, they were?

I liked the twist, but I felt SO sorry for Castle. In trying to prove that his friend didn't kill his wife - which he didn't - he managed to prove that he had set up the murder of his father.

I utterly loved it when Esposito, well, here, let me show you:-

Because, that WAS AWESOME!

A 'TO BE CONTINUED'? You've got to be kidding me???

It was obviously not going to be the cousins because, well, it just never was.

And I can't blame the Homeland Security guy for not taking Castle seriously because the team didn't to begin with. But, at the same time, ignoring Beckett as well? Now that's just stupid.

That was one scary looking bomb.

I really, really hope that Ryan and Esposito realise that something is wrong and get their groove on. Either that, or Beckett ninjas their way out of the container.

Chuck

Okay, so I really kind of enjoyed this one. But then, I love Carina and so any episode that brings her back has me happy.

It was painfully obvious that it was going to be the ditzy blond who had betrayed the team. And apparently Chuck still can't hit a girl.

And Lou Diamond Philips. God, but I love him.

Okay, so there were some parts - like the Morgan and Chuck stuff - were great. The Valentine's Day beginning was comedy gold. Even my mum laughed at it. Casey being all sharpshooter awesome was, well, awesome.

But the rest? Meh.

Ellie and Awesome being so overwhelmed by childhood I thought was WAY over the top and just not funny.

And, am I the only one who was surprised to see someone else walking around Castle? No-one - apart from Casey - mentioned it. It was really rather strange.

And how horribly obvious was it that Vivian was going to go and take over her father's evil empire? Also, who did she find it? Are there signposts in Russia saying 'Volkoff HQ this way'?

Also Vivian Volkoff? Totally Bela from SPN. I spent the entire episode trying to work out who the hell she was. I finally had to IMDB her.

I'm falling just a little bit in love with Raylan. Timothy Olyphant is utterly compelling and hot to boot.

Although, I have to admit that my favourite bit was definitely when Tim shot the guy. He's totally kick ass.

Okay, so I cried at Antonio's memorial service.

It was inevitable that the attempt on Colvin wasn't going to be tied to Alderman Gibbons.

Well, at least the kiss wasn't what I was scared it would be - Tony/Ziva and really, I'd not actually realised that there was a kiss until I re-watched it. Go figure.

But it was so obvious that the girl would be a baddy because she was interested in McGee. That is totally NCIS's MO.

Well, DAMN that was a good half a season.

I love how they introduced Hightower and I also think she's amazing.

Cho's episode about his former gang was amazing and awesomecakes and I love Cho even more.

Grace deciding that she and Rigsby should break up was heartbreaking and I loved Lisbon riding the lift with her and Patrick being all 'god, emotions - I'll be over here'

And that final episode. I admit it - I laughed when Red John killed the couple pretending to be him. I couldn't quite help myself.

The fury and the hatred you could feel coming from Patrick as Red John was right there. Well, fuck. Now I understand why he was more fucked up that usual at the beginning of S3.

Can't wait to see what they've got planned for the rest of S3 and where they are going to take the Red John stuff.

Films

Okay, if you haven't seen this film, you really REALLY should. It's totally amazing. And Hailee Steinfeld is AMAZING as Mattie Ross. Girl, totally held her own with Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon.

The scene where she's haggling with the guy about the ponies and basically haggles him up to exactly what she wants him to give her - TOTALLY my favourite. But pretty much the entire film was my favourite. My only quibble was the end. It was so abrupt - which I don't think I would have minded if the woman who played Mattie at the end was believable.

I totally loved this. They had a believable ComicCon, which honestly made my night. Seriously loved it. Thought it was hilarious.

Loved Jason Bateman SO much in it. Zoil was hilariously deadpan. And I love that Paul introduced him to his wife. That's kind of adorable.

I was delighted that Jesse Plemons was in it. Ah, Landry.

Okay, this? This was a great film. I loved the story. I loved the evolution of the love story. They actually acquired a connection and learnt about each other before they fell in love.

It's entirely possible that Maximus was my favourite character. A crime fighting horse. How fucking awesome.

I think my favourite scene was the one where Rapunzel kept alternating between being so excited about being free from the tower and feeling guilty about disobeying her mother (well, you know, the witch, she thinks is her mother.

I was totally teary when we saw the King and Queen looking so sad. Dad's crying totally set me off.

But, yeah, a great film. Should totally go and see it if you haven't.
