1) First, some good news about del.ici.ous - They are looking to sell it, not bin it

2) Those red shirts get everywhere

3) It's very sad that this actually needs to be a campaign, but yay for the campaign Stop the Blame campaign

A woman is never responsible for being raped or sexually assaulted, but a culture of victim-blaming is still prevalent within our society - including with jurors, as noted by the DPP yesterday. If we want to break the cycle that ends up in a third of women being raped or sexually assaulted at some point during their lives, it is vital that we challenge these damaging attitudes, support victims to rebuild their lives, and place blame firmly back where it belongs - with the perpetrator.”

4) This is honestly not in the slightest bit surprising, but I still find it funny Fox News Viewers Are The Most Misinformed

5) Fox boss ordered staff to cast doubt on climate science - Fox News is biased? Shocking!

6) Why are more people not going 'you fucking well did what now?' Report: Wikileaks cables show Texas company "helped pimp little boys to stoned Afghan cops"

7) The originality of film reviewers...or not

8) How AOL News Started The "Sex By Surprise" Lie I still find my mind boggled by the whole idea that people actually believed that it's illegal to have sex without a condom in Sweden. I mean, really? Come on, people.

9) Hundreds of WikiLeaks Mirror Sites Appear

When will governments realise that once something is on the Internet, IT IS ON THE INTERNET FOREVER?

It's not a difficult concept to get one's head around, surely?

10) Maybe the government would earn more of our trust if it leveled with us more and invaded our privacy less

When did we decide that we trust the government more than its citizens? And that revealing the truth about the government is wrong? And why is the media complicit in this? Did we not learn anything from the run-up to the Iraq war when no one asked hard questions about the justifications for the war and when we accepted statements from government officials without proper pushback?

Just imagine all the things we would still be unaware of if, in the past, the media had complied with what the government preferred them to talk about. Watergate is just the first one to come to mind.

11) James Naughtie is a naughty boy

And more hilarious than the actual slip is the way he totally didn't recover. The swallowing down laughter was brilliant. I can totally imagine everyone in the producers room completely on the floor, crying with laughter *g*

12) I didn't think that people thought Cowboys and Aliens was a comedy The clip I saw at ComicCon certainly didn't suggest that.

13) Can't decide if I've already posted this, but it bears saying again, so here it is

Because, seriously, do a story in the slayer universe - don't use Buffy

14) I've never watched Lost but I was aware that Damon Lindelof was less than impressed by some of the fans reactions to the final episode/season. I'm sure everyone has seen his Harry Potter inspired apology to his dismissal of them, but if not, here it is

Lost co-creator and Harry Potter worshiper Damon Lindelof expected to love Deathly Hallows. Instead he found tedium-and a new understanding of Lost fans' right to complain

And yet, all these links still haven't made much of a dent in the links I have on Twitter. Dammit.
