So, this is another 'people are stupid' post, but this time it is real people and not fictional characters.
Fair warning:- If you are Catholic and/or likely to take offense to me taking the piss out of the Pope and Cardinal Kasper, you might want to skip to the bottom of the post where I am taking the piss out of Elizabeth Moon for being a racist so and so and there are a few good news/bizarre news stories.
First up, Cardinal Kasper, who, after describing landing at Heathrow like landing in a third world country, had to withdraw from from the Pope's trip to England due to 'illness'. I wonder if that illness is otherwise known as 'foot in mouth' syndrome?

My personal favourite is this:-
They [Vatican sources] also said his "Third World" comment referred to the UK's multicultural society.
So, he's not insulting our economy, he's only saying we aren't white enough. Nice.
Also note that Vatican Sources think that it's better that he's seen as a racist. Umm, public relations, guys. You are doing it wrong.

That some Muslims died in the attacks is immaterial
I cannot properly articulate my rage at this post so I suggest you go and read it. Skip the first 5-6 paragraphs of waffle. I tried to read them but kept nearly falling asleep.
