No call whatsoever from the fools at zipcomputers. Why doesn't it surprise me that I haven't got a call back. I guess its upto Dept. Fair Trading to follow this up. I've not heard from them either, however they do state it can take some 14 days. I guess I will just wait and see what happens.
Only about an hour and a half of work left. Then its time for me to clock off and go home. I must admit I do like these hours we have. 8am - 4pm. Although with summer comes the hours changing. The summer time hours we keep are 10am - 6pm. It will be interesting to see what the traffic is like going home at 6pm. I do know the traffic at 10am start will be alot worse then it is now. Although who knows. It is only an assumption so far.
Tomorrow is the start of a new month, and with the start of a new month comes with it broadband download reset. This will be good as we have been shaped for the past 3 or more days. And doing the odd thing each night has been painfull while we have been shaped. Another interesting thing will be the fact our new download limits kick in. We will have 20gb peak/20gb off peak download allowances under the westnet new plans. This will be fun.
With the change of plans and various other things, we are thinking of upgrading to a 1500/256 adsl link with 14/14 download limits. Will see how we go with the 20/20 limits, but I suspect upgrading would be a good idea. I'd sooner the higher speed link then all that extra data. It will make the downloading of the linux iso's for helping out ctd in the future alot quicker.
First thing I noticed today when I left for work, it seemed a whole lot brighter then it did yesterday morning at the sametime.
